A little Serenade or Eine Kleine Serenade by The Everlite For Hawaiians Band
After 38 years sailing as a Marine Engineer Officer I have reach the highest technical function and was retired in 2003 on my 57th as Chief Marine Engineer on large containerships. My goal was a second life with my wife Nora , After our study music and singing lessons we both have a wish to make alive the Hawaiian music in Holland.Next year I will be 80 and still cherish the beautiful tones of the Hawaiian Lapsteel Guitar. Herewith a Little Serenade dedicate to the Hawaiian Steel Guitar players on this planet

A one day music friends gathering during a performance in a Care House in Boskoop. The Guitar solo player is Tony, the bass player is Rob, the drummer is Carl, the Rhythm guitarist Harry, also back vocals, Nora back vocals and myself Rene lead singer and rhythm guitarist. In the Netherlands, since March 2020 patients and caregivers in nursing homes have a very hard time during this COVID -19 outbreak. Nora and the EverLite For Hawaiians love to bring some joy in the hearts of the patients and caregivers this Friday afternoon by playing and singing for them. Thank you for your comment, Derek. I will listen to Rudy. F.Y.I. This Hawaiian steel player of Pacific Malihini passed some years ago and this band doesn't exist anymore. The Everlite For Hawaiian band of the netherlands is now the only world registered band for Holland. The Hawaiian music is not alive here and all great Hawiian steel guitarists of the netherlands are in Heaven.

I think you, Ed and Harm van Sleen did a super job of Sol Hoopi'i's "I Like You", particularly when one considers that there are little or no opportunities of a practice session preceding such events - we have to jump right into it and go for it, haven't we!! Our Hawaiian band practising weekly and the dog never miss these moments that we play music in our living room.
